In town at the Berea coffee shop to post today's events from the workshop. An eventful day with downpours this morning (we are all camping and were reinforcing our tents and my daughter bouncing off the trampoline and hurting her head. We learned about siting your structure and laying out design based on usage needs Then the tractor came and mixed up a bunch of cob for us!! Yay! As fun as it was to mix by hand and foot it sure didspeed things up when thetractor came! We then built level and upright walls on the fndtn up to the height of the built in seating and called it a day. Here we are building the walls of cob up. The other picture is an interior of another cob structure on the property.

We are at the Disputanta Cob cob building workshop in Kentucky. Today we built the stone foundation for a cob gazebo by the guest house. We mixed mortar to fill in the seams and we did our first cob mixing and laid the first layer of cob over the foundation.

A second one from this photo shoot is started and I am also excited about the images from the next photo shoot I am working from! They are sublime! Also we are back up and shooting new sleep photos so if you know anyone who wants to participate please send them my way!!
